Capital Area District Library announces summer events schedule for kids

Thursday, April 17 — Capital Area District Libraries has announced the lineup of events and activities for this year’s Summer Reading program, Fizz, Boom, Read! Visit any of the thirteen branches to enjoy a mix of magicians, live animals, drum circles and live actors. 

Starting June 9, sign up for Summer Reading and receive a free pass to Impression 5 Science Center in downtown Lansing. Once participants have completed the program they can enter to win tickets to the One Direction concert at Ford Field in Detroit in August or a Detroit Tigers game.
