Memorial Day at the zoo

FRIDAY, May 23 — Potter Park Zoo is celebrating Memorial Day by offering free admission to veterans all day long on Monday.

The zoo, located at 1301 S. Pennsylvania Ave. in Lansing, will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Memorial Day. Veterans will need to provide a military identification card at the admissions gate. The offer does not extend to family members of veterans — regular admission fees apply to all non-veterans. See Potter Park’s website for full admission rates and details.
