Friday, Sept. 12 — The second iteration of Beerfest at the Ballpark drew hundreds of craft beer fans and curiosity seekers to Cooley Law School Stadium in downtown Lansing. This was the second Beerfest this year after the spring version, held in April.
The first event was held in the parking lot out front, with some action spilling into the ballpark’s vendor/bathroom area. This event was held on the field, allowing visitors to get a players-eye view of the stadium.
Dozens of Michigan and out-of-state breweries were there providing samples of popular brews as well as specialty brews created for the event. Entertainment was provided by the Black Barn Band, Joe Wright and Stone Clover.
