Mooney/Dick show canceled

Friday, Nov. 14 — "What's Going on in America," the comedy/spoken word show that was supposed to be held Saturday at Fahrenheit Ultra-Lounge on Lansing's south side, has been canceled, according the show's spokeswoman.

"I’m sad to report that the show has been canceled ... Thanks for trying to help," said Darci McConnell by email. McConnell is president and CEO McConnell Communications, the agency that was representing the show.The show was to feature standup comedian Paul Mooney and longtime civil rights activist Dick Gregory. The show has not been rescheduled.
