MONDAY, JULY 6 — Common Ground Music Festival lost a little bit of its star power today, as the festival announced that Meghan Trainor will not perform at this year’s festival.
“Meghan Trainor will not be performing on Tuesday, due to continued treatment of hemorrhaging on her vocal chords,” said festival organizers Meridian Entertainment Group in a statement released this afternoon. “Festival organizers wish her a speedy recovery.”
There is a silver lining for local music fans, however, as Joshua Davis has been added to Tuesday’s lineup. The former Lansing resident, still riding a wave of support from his third place finish on “The Voice,” joins a lineup that includes Misterwives, Bea Miller, Skizzy Mars, Life of Dillon, and more.
Common Ground is offering refunds or exchanges for unused Tuesday night tickets:
For fans that do not wish to still attend on Tuesday night, your unused Tuesday ticket is now valid for any other date at the 2015 festival, Wednesday through Sunday.
Refunds are available for Tuesday Single Day Tickets or 6-Day Festival Passes that are UNUSED. Refunds will be processed following the festival beginning Monday, July 20. Information can be found at commongroundfest.com.
