Gotta dance? Here's your chance

Michelles Studio of Dance is looking for people with Attitude.

The Attitude Dance Company is holding auditions for 2010-2011 Attitude Dance Company members Sunday, Aug. 29, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at its studio, located at its studio (1493 Haslett Road in Haslett). Auditions are open to men and women over the age of 16; a dance resume, headshot, and a 30-second dance piece are required.

This will be the companys second year and Im excited to see who auditions, says Michelle McDevitt, Attitude Dance Company Artistic Director and studio owner. Theres a lot of talented dancers in the area and I hope to see the company grow.

The Attitude Dance Company is a co-ed, semi-professional dance company focused on advanced techniques in a variety of dance styles. The company performs at community events and stages an annual full-length show, which is scheduled for Jan. 22. Last year the company had 10 members, including three male dancers.
