Peffley to drop interim in title at BWL

Public utility appoints interim general manager to general manager post.

Dick Peffley the interim general manager of the Lansing Board of Water and Light can drop the 'interim' label. The Board of Commissioners approved his appointment as general manager last night. He's served as the interim leader of the public utility since January, when the Board fired then General Manager Peter Lark

Peffley has worked at LBWL for yours, and his appointment was recommended by a search committee Sept. 15. His contract was for one year, with an option for annual renewal. He is expected to receive $225,000 a year according to WLNS.
