Bad Brewing Fall Block Party

BAD Brewing Co. is spilling out into to the streets of Mason with its fall block party. The brewery taps the keg on over 25 different brews, including specialty fall beers, barrel-aged beers and ciders. Some featured beers include Chinook Harvest IPA, Bourbon Barrel Aged Mud In Your Rye, and Imperial Pumpkin Rye Porter. Good Bites food truck will be on hand to provide pleasing food pairings. Local band the Further Adventures of Fat Boy and Jive Turkey plays.

American Heritage Festival

Past and present come together at Woldumar Nature Center’s annual American Heritage Festival, where locals can celebrate mid-Michigan’s rich history and check out the works of local artisans. The festival will feature a variety of activities for the whole family, from children’s crafts and face painting to performances by musicians and live history actors. Visitors can explore Moon Log Cabin and herb garden, take a scenic pontoon tour of the Grand River, go on naturalist-led hikes or go on a horse-drawn wagon ride around the nature center’s grounds. Festival food, including homemade ice cream and gourmet hot dogs, will be available for purchase.
