MONDAY, Sept. 28 — After being greeted with mailers on Thursday, voters in Lansing's Third Ward received robocalls over the weekend.

Both the mailer and the robocall attacked Third Ward council challenger Adam Hussain and were produced and paid for by the shadowy nonprofit political organization Capitol Region Progress. Hussain is squaring off against two-term incumbent A'Lynne Boles in the race.
