MSU School of Music: Music of Antonin Dvorak.

The sounds of Bohemian music will fill Fairchild Theater today as MSU Faculty come together to play pieces from nineteenth-century Czech composer Antonin Dvorak. The son of a butcher, Dvorak's music draws upon traditional folk songs and dances from his homeland. Faculty artists are playing 'Serenade, Op. 44,' 'Zigeunerlieder, Op. 55' (Songs My Mother Taught Me) and 'Piano Quintet, Op. 81' under the guidance of conductor Kevin L. Sedatole.

7:30 p.m. $15/$12 seniors/$5 students. Fairchild Theater, MSU Auditorium, East Lansing.
