To help celebrate Halloween this year the Andromeda Community Theatre will be performing the iconic play 'Dracula,' opening today at 7 p.m.

Based on Hamilton Deane's 1924 adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Gothic novel, the narrative follows Dr. John Seward and vampire hunter Abraham van Helsing as they attempt to save Seward's daughter Lucy from a mysterious ailment.

The spooky show runs for three nights at The County Mill in Charlotte.

The 4th Annual Big Fuss Fest and Fundraiser for Allen Neighborhood Center is also happening today at the Allen Market Place. Anyone is welcome to drop in for hors d'oevres, live jazz by Matt LoRusso and Sam Copperman, and a cash bar featuring Sleepwalker Spirits and Ale. All snacks are made from local ingredients.Donations are welcome to support the center, which promotes neighborhood revitalization and supports food, entrepreneurial, and health initiatives in Mid-Michigan.
