Good day on this hopefully sunny Monday.
If you've ever wondered what Lansing looked like in the past, you may enjoy a photo exhibit currently on display at the Library of Michigan.
'Sepia to Selfies' chronicles the history of Lansing since the advent of photography. The Historical Society of Greater Lansing, partnering with the Library of Michigan and Central Michigan University's Clarke Historical Library, has put together dozens of photos, including an old-school selfie taken in 1906.
The exhibit will be on display until the end of the year. You can read more about it in City Pulse's article from last month.
From Sepia to Selfies: 150 Years of Lansing Photography. 4th Floor, Library of Michigan 702 W Kalamazoo St., Lansing www.lansinghistory. org 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon-Fri, Sept. 18-Dec. 31. FREE.
