Good morning on this fine Wednesday. The East Lansing Public Library recently expanded its capabilities with the Maker Studio and the Maker Studio 2.0. These facilities bring locals closer to cutting-edge multimedia technology, including 3D printing and a variety of computer programs. Visitors can make appointments to have access to these resources, and also participate in workshops and classes. You won't need a 3D printer for today's event, however. Today, Maker Studio 2.0 is offering some family fun with Paint a Pumpkin. Kids, parents, and anyone interested can use paint, glitter and markers to create their own vegetable masterpiece. Pumpkins and supplies are provided while materials last.6:30-7:30 p.m. FREE. ELPL 2.0 Maker Studio, 300 MAC Ave., East Lansing.
