Good day on this unseasonably warm Wednesday.
Artist and MSU assistant professor Xia Gao is speaking about her current exhibit, "Dwell," at the Lansing Art Gallery today at 3:30 p.m. Gao, who is originally from China, created the work on display in response to the problems posed by China's polluted air. The installation itself features a complex pattern of barely-visible threads which represent the easily-ignored dangers of smog in urban areas. To read more about "Dwell" check out City Pulse's article from the show's opening.3:30-4 p.m. Lansing Art Gallery, 119 N. Washington Square, Lansing.
