What's up in Lansing: Courage Ablaze and more

Here's what's going on in town today

Posted

Good day on this rainy Wednesday.

It's almost the last day to see MSU Residential College of Arts and Humanities current art exhibition, Courage Ablaze: The Women and Children of Congo in RCAH's LookOut! Art Gallery.

The show features watercolors from Grand Rapids painter Pamela Alderman which share the stories of Congolese women refugees who the artist has worked with. The emotionally provocative works allow viewers to gain insight into the lives of strangers who they might not otherwise connect with.

The show closes tomorrow.

12-3 p.m. FREE. Lookout! Gallery, 362 Bogue St., MSU campus East Lansing.
