What's up in Lansing: Toastmasters and more

Here's what's going on in town today

Good day on this chilly Tuesday.

Tuesday appears to be Toastmasters night in Lansing, as two different Toastmasters clubs have their weekly meetings Tuesday evenings: Capital City Toastmasters and Speakeasies Toastmasters.

What is a Toastmaster, you may ask? More than someone with a talent for using a toaster, that's for sure. Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that promotes public speaking and leadership skills. Anyone can join, and the first step is to visit a club. For more information, visit toastmasters.org.
