What's up in Lansing: Wonderland of Lights and more

Good day and happy Thanksgiving!

The Potter Park Zoo staff is unspooling thousands of festive lights for its annual Wonderland of Lights event.

In addition to the luminous animal and holiday displays, children can enjoy snacks, crafts and special animal encounters.

The event will be occurring Thursday through Sunday until Dec. 27. On Dec. 5, visitors who bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots will be admitted for free.
