TUESDAY, March 29 — Common Ground Music Festival announced this morning that electronic rock band AWOLNATION will headline its July 5 lineup.

Fresh off the conclusion of its arena tour with Fall Out Boy, the L.A.-based rock band is headlining U.S. shows all summer, including a stop in Lansing. The band’s latest album, “Run,” which features No. 1 hit “Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)” and new single “Woman Woman,” is a follow-up to the band’s platinum-certified debut album, “Megalithic Symphony.” “Sail”, the chart-topping first single off “Megalithic Symphony,” is certified six times platinum in the US and holds the record for the most weeks on Billboard Hot 100 chart by an independent artist.

Also on the bill for July 5 is German folk duo Milky Chance, Canadian rock duo Death from Above 1979 and alt rock group Finish Ticket.
