Here's what's going on in town today

Good day on this almost-feels-like-summer day.

The heat wave of last weekend carries in to Monday, and all memories of last week's snowstorm have melted away. Just in time for the warm weather, Kona Ice is giving away free frozen treats in two locations. The "shaved ice company on wheels" offers shaved ice with a wide variety of fruity flavors. The colorful Kona truck can be found at the corner of Michigan Ave. and Capitol Ave. in Lansing from 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m., and at Holt Plaza at the corner of Holt Road and Aurelius Road from 2-3 p.m. kona-ice.com.
