Eye for design

Posted

Aaron Brown of Lansing was the first person to correctly identify the March 16 “Eye for Design” as the Comerica Bank (below) on Michigan at Washington. Although the featured detail showed the bronze screens on the south elevation, the building is covered with interesting elements. Visitors can find a variety of forms and figures in the bas relief carvings stone carvings of Ulysses Ricci near the main entrance.

The first person to correctly identify the location of the detail above, which is in Lansing, will receive a City Pulse Eye for Design mug. Send your answer to debollman@comcast.net by May 4.
