SafeCenter, a local nonprofit that fights domestic and sexual abuse, hosts Michigan Supreme Court Justice Richard Bernstein as keynote speaker of its annual fundraiser dinner today. Elected in November 2014, Bernstein is the court’s first blind justice. The fundraiser event also includes a silent auction, featuring items like vacation packages, MSU football tickets, sports memorabilia, gift certificates and more. Proceeds from the event support SafeCenter’s services, which include emergency shelter, counseling and other services for victims of domestic and sexual abuse. 5:30 p.m. $35. Local artists from the Greater Lansing Potters' Guild come together this weekend for a three-day pottery sale.
