Now that winter is finally coming to an end, the city of Mason is celebrating with some spring-themed fun. This weekend’s 33rd annual Mason Spring Fling Festival, which runs Thursday through Sunday, features a variety of activities around town. The festival kicks off Thursday with country line dancing and an Italian wine dinner. The action continues Friday with 5K run/walk through Mason’s historic downtown to benefit the Mason Public Schools Foundation. Mason Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its outdoor courthouse craft show Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday also features be a 12:30 p.m. Duck Race at Sycamore Creek and a 2 p.m. performance by the Shahira Dancers.
