Here's what's going on in town today

Good day on this partly cloudy Tuesday.

Today brings the weekly jazz night at Moriarty's in downtown Lansing. Tonight's featured musician is Aneesa Strings, a bassist and singer/songwriters whose first album, "A Shift in Paradigm," came out in 2014. The musician just graduated with a Master's degree in Jazz Studies from Michigan State. Jazz Tuesday features a different Michigan Jazz artist each week. 7-10 p.m. FREE. Moriarty's Pub, 802 E.
