What's up in Lansing: Make and Take and more

Here's what's going on in town today

Posted

Good day on this hot and rainy Friday.

Summer vacation is well underway and by this point, the kids might be getting bored. Local library programs aim to alleviate summer listlessness with hands-on projects for kids. One such program, Teen Make and Take, gets underway this afternoon at the East Lansing Public Library's Maker Studio. Teens from grades 7-12 build their own LED Light wrist cuffs that they can slip onto their arms and wear home at the end of the day. The Teen Make and Take series offers similar activities for teens throughout the year. 4-5 p.m. FREE. ELPL 2.0 Maker Studio, 300 M.A.C. Ave., East Lansing. elpl.org.
