Usually magicians do magic tricks... but sometimes they build race cars. Youngsters grades 3 and up can head to the Grand Ledge City Hall today to learn to make their very own mini car from Michigan magician Ming the Magnificent. The workshop encourages kids to be creative during their long summer break. Due to renovations at the Grand Ledge Area District Library, this event is held at City Hall. 2 p.m.-3 p.m. Grand Ledge City Hall, 310 Greenwood St., Grand Ledge. (517) 627-7014, grandledge.lib.mi.us.
