Good day on this warm and summery Monday.

Lansing has a chance today to take advantage of a free class to boost their home-improvement chops. The Homeowner Education Resource Organization, part of the Greater Lansing Housing Coalition, offers classes every week in order to help Lansing keep its homes in shape. Today's class, Credit Rescue, is not on physical home improvement projects, but on managing one's credit score. For a list of upcoming classes, see here. 6-8 p.m. FREE. Neighborhood Empowerment Center, 600 W. Maple St., Lansing, (517) 372-5980, glhc.org.
