What's up in Lansing: Card games and more

Here's what's going on in town today

Posted

Good day and happy National Chocolate Milkshake Day.

American Fifth Spirits invites Lansing in for some "great fun for horrible people" with its weekly Monday night Cards Against Humanity tournaments. The rules of the politically-incorrect game are simple: one player asks a question from a black card, and everyone else answers with their funniest white card. The game is not for the faint of heart however — categories touch on everything from political controversies and bathroom humor to outrageously dark scenarios and "Oprah Winfrey sobbing into a lean cuisine." Those who win the most rounds earn bigger discounts on the night's drinks. 7-10 p.m. FREE. American Fifth Spirits, 112 N. Larch St., Lansing. (517) 999-2631.
