Eye for design

Posted

Cathy Caswell of East Lansing was the only eagle-eyed observer to identify the detail in the Aug. 10 Eye for Design, found “on the front of St. John Student Church on MAC Avenue in East Lansing.” The eagle serves as the symbol of Saint John the Evangelist in recognition of his writings, which are said to soar above the themes presented in the other gospels.

Keeping with the avian theme, this cast iron owl can be found in East Lansing. The first person to correctly identify the location of the detail will receive a City Pulse Eye for Design mug. Send your answer to debollman@comcast.net by Sept. 21.
