The fifth annual Festival of Trees kicked off this week at the Turner-Dodge House in Lansing. The festival showcases Christmas trees artfully decorated by local businesses, organizations and individuals. Prizes were awarded to some of the most innovative trees, such as Potter Park Zoo's toad-themed conservation tree won the award for best theme.
