The Historical Society of Greater Lansing hosts historian Jacob McCormick Thursday to discuss the history of photography in Lansing. McCormick’s lecture, based on impressive photography collection of David Tinder, covers Lansing photography in the 19th and 20th centuries. McCormick also discusses historical photography techniques like carte de visites and cabinet cards.
