Here's what's going on in town today

Good day on this final day of January.

Tuesday appears to be Toastmasters night in Lansing, as a few different Toastmasters clubs have meetings Tuesday evenings: Capital City Toastmasters and Speakeasies Toastmasters.

What is a Toastmaster, you may ask? More than someone with a talent for using a toaster, that's for sure. Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that promotes public speaking and leadership skills. Anyone can join, and the first step is to visit a club.
