Here's what's going on in town today.

Hello this Tuesday.

On this day:

Today in 1960, is believed to be the day that the US made the decision to legalize the birth control pill, an action that many believe was a step forward for women across the country. Ever wonder how birth control evolved into what it is today? Here's a link to Time magazine's timeline of birth control. It's quite interesting, considering it dates back to 1550 (B.C.!)

Tuesdays are hard for everyone. The cure could be this Therapeutic Yoga class. The class will take place at the Meridian Senior Center at 4406 Okemos Road in Okemos. The cost is $15 to drop in and the class lasts from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. For more information, call (517)706-5045 or visit the website at meridianseniorcenter.weebly.com.
