Jan Eberle and Ralph Votapek

If you are interested in a world class classical performance, look no further than performers Jan Eberle and Ralph Votapek. From Lisbon to St. Petersburg to now East Lansing, Ralph Votapek is a renowned piano player who has toured for over 40 years. He now joines with Jan Eberle, a professor of oboe at Michigan State University.

Eberle herself is also very accomplished, having played across the U.S. from East Lansing, Fort Worth, Detroit and Houston.

This is all part of an Artist-Faculty Series sponsored by WKAR. The two performers will feature Vivaldi Concerto for two oboes, Poulenc Sonata for oboe and piano and Running Quodlibet for oboe and English horn. According to the university’s website, the “program concludes with the Beethoven Trio, Op. 87 for two oboes and English horn.”
