What's Up in Lansing: Monday Night Life Drawing

Posted

It’s one thing to imagine the human form and then put pencil to paper, but it’s another to see it directly. According to an article from the BBC, using a nude model as reference is beneficial for a multitude of reason.

“Shadows and skin texture, the way the limbs move, extend. Every pose of position, reveals a whole new composition.”

O’Day Studios in East Lansing is now offering weekly classes that allow artists to have time with nude models to improve their technique.
