The Michigan State College of Music will honor the 250th anniversary of Georg Phillip Telemann’s death on Thursday evening at Fairchild Theatre. As a part of the Taylor Johnston Early Music Series, the program will showcase two quartets that Telemann performed in Paris in 1737. The program will also feature Chamber masterworks by J.S Bach and C.P.E. Bach, as well as two French trios featuring the harpsichord and viola da gamba. Artists include Jaap ter Linden, Kathie Stewart, Aaron Berofsky, and Joseph Gascho.
