What's Up in Lansing: Joe Crookston

Posted

It’s not always the trend for a musician to showcase art, but then again, Joe Crookston is a man of many talents. Not only does the singer, songwriter, guitarist painter, fiddler and slide player play music at his shows, he demonstrates some of his artwork too — and some of his music is based on that artwork.

Head over to the MSU Community Music School to hear Joe Crookston’s auditory storytelling and to see his visual artistry.
