If you’ve been looking for a reading group, the Okemos branch of the Capital Area District Libraries is hosting a Friends Book Group. The group’s upcoming read is “The Swans of Fifth Avenue” by Melanie Benjamin.

The story focuses on Babe Paley, a socialite who regularly appears on the cover of Vogue and is known for her glamor, who is filled with much deeper desires below the surface.
