What's Up in Lansing: Tai Chi in the Park

Posted

If you’re unsure what tai chi is, a good way to visualize it is “mediation in motion.” The low-impact exercise stimulates both the body and mind to promote good physical and mental health. It originated as a martial art, but the low-impact exercise is now used in a less-aggressive way.

Without pausing one’s movement, the exercise allows individuals to slowly progress from small motions, to larger, full-body engagement.
