National comedian Michelle Wolf to headline Stand Up For Progress fundraiser in REO Town

Posted

TUESDAY, Feb. 5 — The raunchy comedian who made waves at the 2018 White House Correspondents' Dinner is coming to Lansing on April 13 to perform a set at The Cadillac Room in REO Town.

The annual Stand Up for Progress event raises funding for the progressive political group Progress Michigan.

Wolf had previously worked on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” before being catapulted into national fame with incendiary one-liners toward the president like “Trump is so broke he looked for foreign oil in Don Jr.’s hair.”

Tickets are on sale starting today at $35. The event starts at 7:30 p.m.

Comedian Eric O’Shea and former contestant of “America’s Got Talent” will open.

“Michelle Wolf’s political comedy made a lasting impression on the White House Correspondents' Dinner and we can’t wait to bring her to Lansing,” executive director of Progress Michigan Lonnie Scott said.
