The houses on Ada Street in the Baker-Donora neighborhood are, for the most part, all appealing to look at. Colorful flowerpots and wind chimes hang from porches and Barack Obama signs are still stuck in some front lawns. Most of the houses even follow the same color scheme, making them look like a quaint Stepford suburb. Then theres this sore thumb.
Rather than having a few boarded-up windows, this blue and white house has what appears to be a boarded-up wall. And the steps dont look like they could support very much weight, so its probably a good thing nobody is in a hurry to move in.
Unfortunately, boarded-up walls and chipped paint arent the most physically unattractive aspects of the house. There appears to be a dead animal of some sort frozen to the roof of the eyesore. Either the critter couldnt hack the cold weather or it took one look at the house and dropped dead.
