East Lansing launches summer entertainment

For the past 15 years the city of East Lansing has been putting on a free summer concert series in the park to bring in families, residents, and anyone who is walking around downtown. The city will also be showing moonlit films and hosting an interactive series for kids.

Friday nights @ Fountain Square, 7-9 p.m.

June 11 — Bayou River Band (New Orleans jazz)

June 25 — May Erlewine & Seth Bernard (traditional folk)

July 9 — Pete & the Parrot Heads (Jimmy Buffet tribute)

July 16 — Kathleen Bolthouse Band (blues)

July 23 — Stringtown Trio with Drew Howard (folk, swing, jazz)

July 30 — Greg Nagy (blues)

Aug. 6 — Hot Club of Lansing (jazz)
