Eyesore of the week

Property owner James Hornberger Jr. said this house two doors down from his business, the Golf Haus, is “going to be gone in a very short time.” Hornberger said it has “just really fallen into disrepair in the last year or so.” He’s not kidding: Weeds are overtaking the back steps, the front porch steps look like they could collapse at any minute, the brick chimney is crumbling and the roof is sagging and rotting.

Hornberger said he intends to keep the property after the house is gone. Perhaps the empty lot would make for a good putting green? “I don’t know about that,” he said.
