Like an individual snowflake, every skyline is unique. Big or small. Short or tall. With a single glimpse you can see where a city has been, where it is now and from the arrangement of construction cranes gracing the view, where it will be — a visual record of the past, present and future.

Skylines, like Lansing’s, are composed of more diverse building types than perhaps anytime in history. Late 19th century skyscrapers mingle with mid-century modern civic buildings and post-modern office buildings in an eclectic mix that has come to define early 21st century urbanism.

Wherever you go to enjoy your favorite view of Lansing, whether it be from a top a parking structure, driving I-496 headed west or another equally satisfying vantage point appreciate it for what it is, unique.
