Get pie-eyed at Capital Area Interfaith Respite’s Annual Autumn Pie Fest Saturday

Wednesday, Oct. 5 — Enjoy some ofthe Lansing area’s most mouthwatering pies and get your fill of fall activities at the CapitalArea Interfaith Respite’s Annual Autumn Pie Fest on Saturday. CAIR is anorganization that gives caregivers a chance to take a break, free of charge, byproviding senior citizens with companionship.

The fundraiser promotesCAIR’s mission of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors,” with activities such as homemadepies, hayrides, music and a silent auction.

Admission foradults is $10; children ages 12 and younger are free. The event is from 5 to 8p.m. at 1873 North Every Road, also known as “The Barn,” in Mason. For more information, call Brenda at(517) 887-6116, or e-mail scp@rsvp-lansing.com.
