Posted

Tuesday, Oct. 18 — Take eight puppeteers, black-light effects, a bunch of UV-reactive puppets and you get "ImaginOcean," a family-oriented tale of fishy friends looking for underwater adventure. The show, written by John Tartaglia, comes to the Wharton Center Sunday.

Tartaglia's Broadway credits include Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," "Shrek the Musical" and the Tony-winning "Avenue Q." In "ImaginOcean," he tells the story of Tank, Bubbles and Dorsel, who follow a treasure map into the deep. The hour-long musical features songs by William Wade that range from swing to R&B. "ImaginOcean" has played Off-Broadway for over a year.

General admission tickets are $12 for the 1:30 p.m. performance.
