Wednesday, Feb. 8 — On this week's show, Jay Kaplan, attorney for the ACLU of Michigan's LGBT Project, discusses Tuesday's news out of California that a federal appeals court upheld a ruling that says its ban on gay marriage is illegal. Also, MSU Board of Trustees Chairman Joel Ferguson discusses his plan to run again for a position on the Board and also the proposed Lansing casino. Later on, Lori Black addresses her issues with the media and the portrayal of her family following the murder of her 19-year-old daughter Shayla Johnson in 2010. Finally, City Pulse columnist and MIRS editor Kyle Melinn addresses Pete Hoekstra's latest ad as part of his bid for U.S. Senate.
