Posted

Thursday, Feb. 16 — Pianists Bob Seeley and Bob Baldori get keyed up during the latest episode of "Backstage Pass," premiering at 10 p.m. tonight on WKAR-TV.

The duo's boogie-woogie style has brought them international attention. Former Chuck Berry band member Baldori (who hails from Okemos) and Seeley (a Detroit native) first joined forces after Baldori heard Seeley performing at a Charley's Crab restaurant in the suburbs of the Motor City; before long, they were touring the world. Their teamwork and the roots of the music they love are showcased in the documentary "Boogie Stomp," which screens at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. March 3 at Celebration Cinema Lansing.

The "Backstage Pass" episode repeats at 8 and 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 on WKAR World. for more information, visit the "Backstage Pass" website.
