Thursday, Feb. 23 — You’ll see it all at this weekend’s Happendance concerts. Artistic director Missy Lilje plans to leave everything out in the open — including the backstage area — for “Happendance … Exposed,” in order to put her dancers front and center.

"Exposed" include commissioned works from guest choreographers Kimberly Karpanty and Leanne Schmidt, as well as new pieces by company members Andrew Amos, Tracy Holtzer, Michael Place and Lilje. Musical selections range from Massive Attack and Sigur Ros to Philip Glass and a piece by William Shatner and Ben Folds.

Happendance (which also includes company members Danielle Selby and Patricia Villanueva and apprentice Madeline Brogan) is joined in this performance by guests Sarah Dobson, Clara Martinez and members of the high-school-aged Happendance 2 troupe.
