Friday, April 13 — July 13 could be a day of good fortune for one Common Ground Music Festival ticket buyer.
Today only, Common Ground Music Festival is holding a 13-hour sale (from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.) to sell July 13 tickets for just $13, plus fee. The event also includes a chance for one buyer to win a meet-and-greet with an as-of-yet-unidentified July 13 performer. One ticket buyer who guesses the name of the performer will win the meeting.
Marketing manager Amanda Snook says the idea came from Common Ground's Facebook followers.
“All of the 13s lining up — year, promotion date, and performance night — was lucky scheduling. The $13 ticket idea though, that came straight from our fans,” Snook said.
The discounted tickets, maximum of 8 per person, and contest are available through the festival’s website, commongroundfest.com.
