Wednesday, Oct. 24 — City of Lansing voters who can’t make it to the polls on Nov. 6 can vote by absentee ballot in person this weekend.
Lansing City Clerk Chris Swope said on Sunday, people who qualify for an absentee ballot can vote in-person from noon to 4 p.m. at 2500 S. Washington Ave. If you’d like to vote, Swope wrote in a press release that you should walk to the back of the building and enter through the double doors.
“I know the weekdays that we’re usually open (on Election Day) aren’t always convenient for everyone,” Swope said. “I thought it would be good for voters since we don’t have early voting in Michigan. It’s an additional opportunity for voters to get to the polls.”
